Staff fill hearts and empty pockets for Fellowship Center campaign
Members of the Farmington community have joined forces to create the Give. Gather. Grow. Fundraising Campaign – a campaign that will feature a 3,500-square-foot Fellowship Center with space dedicated to life enrichment, an enhanced outdoor experience and improved community experience.
As we work to raise the funds needed to make the new Fellowship Center a reality, we are grateful for our employees who not only give their time, energy and compassion to our residents every day, but who also are giving their hard-earned finances to help support this campaign. Through payroll deduction pledges and cash gifts, 23 staff members have pledged to raise $25,000 for the Fellowship Center campaign, and 100% of Executive Director Jane Hull’s leadership team has donated.
“This is an incredible accomplishment. Employees at Presbyterian Manor know the difference this is going to make in residents’ lives,” said Patti Christen, regional director of development.
We asked just a few of the staff who have made a financial contribution to the campaign to share why it’s important to them.

Why do you give to the Fellowship Center campaign?
“I chose to give to the Fellowship Center because I love the idea of being a part of such a fantastic philanthropic project. Though I didn’t pledge a ton of money, I know that every little bit adds up, and I love the idea of knowing that I could help make such a great vision become reality.”
In your opinion, what makes the Fellowship Center so important to FPM?
“The Fellowship Center will not only be a wonderful space for our current residents and family members, but it will be another great perk to living on our campus for future potential residents. This Fellowship Center will also be a great location for our staff to hold gatherings and parties for our residents.”
Why do you feel it’s important for staff to support this opportunity?
“We all believe in the mission of Presbyterian Manor, supporting this opportunity leaves a legacy behind long after we’re gone. This Fellowship Center will bring joy and provide a place for togetherness for years to come.”

“I gave to the Fellowship Center because I feel like it would be an important asset to the community.”
In your opinion, what makes the Fellowship Center so important to FPM?
“It is important because it will give residents more opportunities to join together and more things to do with their time.”
Why do you feel it’s important for staff to support this opportunity?
“It is important for staff to support this because it will be helpful for staff and residents, too. There will be much more space for activities and residents’ families.”

Why do you give to the Fellowship Center campaign?
“I wanted to be a part of something like this that would have a lasting effect for not only our residents now but the residents that will be at Presbyterian Manor in the future, long after I am gone. Residents will be enjoying this center for many, many years.”
In your opinion, what makes the Fellowship Center so important to FPM?
“I know it is needed and will be a beautiful place for residents and their families and the staff will enjoy time together. I love to see the residents happy and enjoying time with their families and the staff, and that is what will happen in this Fellowship Center. I also think it will increase family involvement with the residents because we will have a dedicated space with plenty of room for parties and all types of gatherings.”
Why do you feel it’s important for staff to support this opportunity?
“It shows the pride and commitment our staff have to Presbyterian Manor and our residents.”
